EPA (c7.fe) - Mechanical Static Engineers
Location: Miri, Malaysia

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the integrity of the facilities layout, mechanical & piping, conceptual / detailed design work including quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) aspect and within cost and schedule;
Focal point and/or leader for technical evaluation of the packages;
Managing respective purchase orders and contractors’ resources;
Provide project engineering assistance to Team Leader in term of budget and planning particularly for offshore activities;
Provide assistance (and occasionally responsible) to Team Leader for the coordination of HSE related aspects such as coordination of HSE related studies (Quantitative Risk Assessment, Health Risk Assessment, Environmental Impact Assessment and Ergonomics);
Coordinate the offshore hook-up and commissioning activities including coordination of project materials (shiploose items) and minor fabrication.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical engineering;
At least 7 years’ relevant experience on project implementation in an oil and gas environment;
Preferably a member of a professional engineering body (such as Institution of Engineers and Chartered Engineers);
Knowledgeable and competent in all project definition, technical feasibility studies and project execution;
A proven track record of results delivery in challenging environments and skilled in organising, influencing, negotiating, and commercial dealings.
