I am currently looking for a Drilling Engineer for an Oil and Gas Company based in Jakarta .
Specifically the incumbent will:
- Conduct well design and other required exploration wells. Ensure that all well plans, designs and well programmes meet defined well objectives, required performance standards, budget and schedule.
* Preparation of scopes of work for tenders and evaluation of tenders.
* Preparation of well cost estimates.
* Day to day operations support during drilling activity.
* Preparing and conducting pre-spud meetings.
* Preparation of drilling programmes and end of well reports.
* Actively participate in promotion of HS&E initiatives.
- Ensure that all well plans, designs and well programmes and regulatory submissions are prepared to and conform with the Company’s and legislative procedures and timeframes.
- To be responsible for cost and technical reviews of drilling, suspension and abandonment operations in order that areas for improvement are identified so future projects can benefit.
- To pro-actively forge good relationships with internal and external network contacts, so that up to date information is exchanged and all queries satisfactorily answered.
- Liaise with project and exploration groups to meet their objectives in a safe and efficient manner.
Experience:
- BS or BSc in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of ten years experience in Drilling Engineering.
- Experience of drilling operations and tendering for well services.
- Experience in Semi drilling operations.
- Ability to work independently, with small measure of supervision. Self starter
