POSITION : Cost Accountant
DEPARTMENT : Business Support
REPORT TO : Business Manager
LOCATION : Jl. Raya Narogong km.19 Cileungsi, Bogor
Background / Experience :
Bachelor degree in Accounting with minimum GPA of 3.0
CPA/CMA certification
2-4 years manufacturing experience supporting inventory and product costing
Should have a strong knowledge and experience in an SAP environment
Strong knowledge of business process, systems and controls
Must demonstrate initiative, leadership, good judgment and the ability to effectively communicate and strong analytical thinking
Fluent in written and oral communication in English language and Bahasa
Excel, Word, Power Point expertise
Job Responsibilities :
Independently perform staff level accounting functions that develop and provide cost, business analysis and financial counsel on complex business issues to support business decisions.
Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing and Logistic departments to analyze, monitor and manage standard cost in CBS system, monitor and report actual cost, this includes product margin reporting and analytics.
Analyze product cost to support short term and long term decision making for NPI, cost reduction activities and investment analysis. Should be capable of handling broader business issues such as establishing and monitoring target costs, forecasting product costs, quantifying cost reductions and providing alternatives, and competitive analysis for sourcing decisions.
Analyze variances between standard cost and actual cost and report reasons.
Provide cost information for annual Business Plan, Rolling Business Management and Strategic Planning Committee
Provide abnormal report and develop normal rate in CBS system
Provide technical expertise, supporting business processes utilizing business analysis techniques.
Additionally, this position will require:
A comprehensive knowledge of business and accounting practices systems and procedures
To apply accounting knowledge and provide guidance on business issues
To participate and lead multifunctional teams
To compile and analyze data to develop specialized reporting to make and/or influence business decisions.
The incumbent should demonstrate expertise in the inventory and cost accounting area. Demonstrate strong communication skills will be a pre-requisite. A comprehensive knowledge of the business unit products and cost structure will need to be developed. Display excellent interpersonal skills and willing to work with people in a team environment.
