We are looking for experienced professionals to take part in exciting positions of :
SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER – MATERNAL, NEONATAL & CHILD HEALTH DESIGN
The Senior Program Manager will be part of AusAID’s Health Unit, working with a team to develop the new design for AusAID’s investment in maternal, neonatal and child health. The design team will include experts in health and will work closely with health unit to define the scope of the program and build an operational design. The position will take a lead role in managing consultations with GOI and civil society.
Demonstrated experience in managing health programs, including experience in developing, monitoring and evaluating programs with a health/MNCH focus is highly preferred.
SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER – GENDER
This new position will be part of AusAID’s Women in Leadership Unit, a small team managing the design of a new gender program. It is expected that the program will work with government, civil society, national and local organizations to support poor women to achieve change. The Senior Program Manager will work with design and sector experts to define the scope of the program and build an operational design for funding consideration. The position will take a lead role in managing consultations with civil society and government and will lead some of the-key design research and analytical work.
It is highly desired that the individual possesses solid experience working with civil society organizations on gender issues.
PROGRAM OFFICER – POVERTY REDUCTION
The appointed Program Officer will be part of AusAID’s Poverty Reduction Unit, a team of ten people managing a total of $272 million/4 year program of work. This program is likely to grow substantially both in value and number of activities under its management. Providing administrative and logistical support to the team towards this growth agenda will be the incumbent’s primary focus, under limited direction of a Senior Program Manager.
Previous working experience in a multi-cultural and demanding work environment is highly desirable.
