The company provides distinctive customer solutions in supply chain management, food applications, and health and nutrition. In line with company’s continued growth and expansion, is currently looking for a highly qualified candidate to fill position of DIRECTOR, GOVERNMENT RELATION – INDONESIA
The incumbent will report directly to Vice President Corporate Affairs – Asia Pacific. This position will support the company’s current as well as long term business objectives by helping to create a dialogue with government authorities and other stakeholders. Government Relation Director will focus on developing and implementing plans and strategies supporting the company’s government relations mission with respect to its businesses in Indonesia . Therefore this position is the dedicated GO-TO person for Government Relation in Indonesia .
Principal Accountabilities of this position are identification, development, planning, management and strengthening of key government relationships that are critical to the growth of company’s business in Indonesia, advocate and/or provide assistance to the effective advocacy of the company’s positions on the above and other business impacting issues before selected ministries and local government; plan, organize and coordinate meetings, visits and other forms of exchanges.
This is a very senior position and the incumbent will have a close contact with company executives and Indonesia officials in both central government agencies and key provinces as assigned from time to time. An attractive remuneration package would be provided to the incumbent. This position will be stationed in Jakarta .
- At least 12 years professionals experience, including a minimum of 3 years managing government relations or policy programs (or similar positions) focusing on ministries and government agencies that interacts in a corporate or similar environment, preferably with a multinational
- Preferably with food and/or agriculture industry experience
- In depth understanding of political process and government interaction
- Good proficient in English both written and spoken
- Willing to travel
