Greenpeace, one of the world’s leading environmental campaigning organizations is seeking applications for a:
FUND RAISING MANAGER
The fundraising department is responsible for maximizing income from individuals by inspiring and engaging people and developing long-term committed relationships. We aim to build a cost effective, ethical and sustainable fundraising base to meet the needs of Greenpeace Southeast Asia (GPSEA). This full-time position based in Jakarta is responsible for managing the fundraising department of Greenpeace in Indonesia, and for working closely with colleagues across Southeast Asia to investigate, test and evaluate new fundraising initiatives.
The role’s responsibilities include Strategic Planning, Budget Preparation and Management, Leading a team of professional and experienced fundraisers to achieve income and expenditure targets and Creating a diverse and secure fundraising base.
We are looking for a marketing, sales or fundraising professional who has demonstrable achievements in their field. You will have strong analytical skills, be able to lead a team to success and you understand the importance of good communications.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor Degree (Marketing / Communications / Business Administration or related field)
- 3 years+ experience in fundraising or marketing or sales management
- Ideally have some experience working for an international organization
- Excellent communication in both Bahasa and English
- The ability to interpret, translate and re-write information
- The ability to analyze figures and make decisions based on information
- An understanding of the importance of customer service and relationship building
