Greenpeace ,one of the world’s leading environmental campaigning organizations is seeking applications for a:
REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
- The Regional HR Development Manager (Regional HRD Manager) manages and and leads Greenpeace Southeast Asia’s (GPSEA) Human Resources Development Unit in developing, planning and implementing Human Resources strategies in support of GPSEA goals and operations, taking into account the organization’s long-term needs for expansion and growth.
- As part of GPSEA’s expanded Senior Management Team (SMT), the Regional HR Development Manager will be partnering with the SMT in developing and implementing Compensation Et Benefits scheme, staff retention and engagement and staff development programs to ensure that GPSEA staff will be welt retained, motivated, properly managed and fully developed.
- The Regional HR Development Manager will be coordinating with the Regional HR Management Manager and will be providing support in implementing HR Policies and Procedures.
Basic skills and qualifications:
1. At least 10 years hands-on experience in a Senior Human Resources Development position, preferably with an international organization.
2. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in related fields eg Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Human Resources, Professional Education, etc.
3. Strong management, planning, organizing and problem solving skills, able to confront issues and achieve effective resolution
4. Proactive and with cross-cultural experiences. Experience working with Asian cultures is desirable
5. Excellent spoken and written English.
6. Able to work effectively as part of a team but also able to work independently and unsupervised, should be a self starter and quick learner.
7. Appreciate Greenpeace Core Values.
8. Willing to work outside core working hours and to travel frequently within Southeast Asia.
