Database Administrator (DBA)
Job Description :
Responsible for installation, maintenance, and technical support of required database system(s).
Responsible for problem resolution, database configuration, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Responsible for day to day database operations, including system and product administration functions.
Ensures test procedures are defined, documented, and implemented for new databases.
Ensures backup procedures are defined, documented, and implemented for full database recoveries.
Contribute to the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly management activities of the database such as monitoring and incidents tracking.
Skill:
MCDBA and/or MCSE.
Excellent knowledge of MS SQL server.
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server 2000 – 2003
Good knowledge of Active Directory and System Administration
