SYSTEM ANALYST
Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes, business systems and user needs to create business requirements and functional design specifications for IT systems. ensures systems design and functionality parallel overall business strategies, and ensures business alignment of IT development efforts. Writes detailed descriptions and analyses of user needs, systems functionality and steps required to develop IT systems taking into account best-practice methods and altenatives, conducting research and related fact-finding exercises as needed. Must be a “business expert”, knowledgeable of current and future trends in the business and IT worlds and be able to create innovative and efficient design solutions to business problems and use-cases, using available technology and resources
Qualifications :
3+ years experience in systems analysis on development of new and replacement application projects
2+ years experience in gathering and developing detailed functional requirements for OO, multi-tier applications
Experience in designing and facilitating user focus sessions
Experience in designing and facilitating solution envisioning sessions
Experience in leading Software Process improvement efforts
Experience with iterative development methodologies
Knowledge of a testing methodology and / or experiences in testing (System, Unit, Integration, Inerface)
Understand of data modeling, object modeling (domain model) and OO design principles
Strong understanding of capabilities and limitations of programming languages, middleware solutions, application servers and presentation layer tools is a plus, but not required
Strong dkills using MS Office
Exceptional listening, writing and verbal communication skills
