We’re looking DBA professional to strengthen our Datawarehousing and Bussines Intelligence professional team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The DBA is responsible for design, development, implementation and administration of database architecture that support business objectives.
- Performs creation of database objects such as stored procedures, triggers, packages, tuning, database administration, troubleshooting required of Oracle database environments. Supports multiple system environments (in-house and external) for development, testing and production releases.
- Performs logical design and physical implementation of data services layer. Proactively diagnoses and resolves problems affecting database performance. Designs and implements database backup and recovery strategies. Adheres to our standards and quality control procedures.
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
This person will work with a cross-section of internal IT organizations, including other DBA’s, systems analysts, developers and the management team. Excellent analytical skills, time management skills, ability to prioritize and multi task, ability to routinely make effective and timely decisions in alignment with departmental direction is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of Database Administration hands on developing, and tuning Oracle 8i/9i/10G
- 5+ years of Database Design
- 3+ years of logical / physical data modelling
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting
- Strong skill in Oracle Database Performance Tuning
- Strong experience in Oracle Database Capacity Planning
- Strong skills in documenting complex technologies for wide technology distribution and understanding (level 0-2 architecture diagrams)
