Senior IT Administrator
Main role and mandatory competences:
Network Management :
- Network topology, subneting, cabling
- Routing table configuration
- WAN and LAN configuration
- Firewall and network security
- Proxy setup and management
- SNMP
- Speed optimisation
User management :
- LDAP installation and management
- Active Directory installation and management
- User rights and login credentials
- Computer disk image for controlled and fast deployment
Support :
- Server environment and applications
- Desktop hardware and software
Data management :
- Network backup
- Network policy
- Disaster recovery
OS knowledge :
- Linux
- MS Server 2003
- Windows XP
Good to have competences:
- Exchange server
- Mac OS X
- CVS
- Apache, MySQL, PHP, Python
- Antivirus server
- IT inventory
Additional skills:
- Good command of English
- Pro-active, autonomous and able to learn fast
- Well organized
- Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors
