Country Head

The incumbent would be a well qualified, highly mature, dynamic professional with sharp business acumen to lead the Group’s coal mining operations in Indonesia, based in Jakarta.

With a successful track record of having managed large coal interests in Indonesia, he would have in–depth business expertise relating to coal & coal-mining operations. Knowledge of Indonesian government rules, policies & procedures in this sphere, coupled with the foresight & ability to confidently negotiate issues, are essential pre-requiesites. Focused objective would be to achieve target of 10 million tons p.a by end 2010, through various measures including JVs, long-term supply contracts, etc.

The position reports into the Joint MD & CEO based in Mumbai, India. Compensation will be attractive, in line with industry norms, and is not a constraint for the right candidate.
