EPA (c7.fe) Process Engineers
Location: Miri, Malaysia

Responsibilities :

Process Engineers are directly involved in all stages of the hydrocarbon development lifecycle from appraisal, concept selection, design, commissioning to operation of the surface facilities required to transport and process oil and gas from the wellhead to the market;
As a Process Engineer you will work within integrated teams identifying and selecting process concepts that reflect the range of uncertainties associated with the hydrocarbons in the reservoir and the wells required to bring these to the surface;
You will carry out engineering studies at initiation, feasibility, concept selection and definition stages in the hydrocarbon maturation process;
You will provide expert advice and support in support of front-end design, detailed design and commissioning activities of new or existing plant;
You will verify the design integrity of work carried out by Engineering contractors to ensure that the proposed solutions are technically sound and meet operability and maintainability requirements;
You will participate in the development of the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up plans for the static equipment;
You will support and advice maintenance and operational staff on system de-bottlenecking and production optimization.

Requirements :

With a Chemical Engineering BSc or MSc degree – or its equivalent – you’ll have substantial experience gained in process engineering in the oil and gas industry;
You should have demonstrable experience in conceptual and detailed design of oil and gas treatment facilities in combination with a broad exposure to all aspects of process engineering including pipeline hydraulics, flow assurance and process safeguarding;
You should have a good working knowledge of reservoir engineering, production technology and well engineering;
You should have a good understanding of complimentary surface engineering disciplines, e.g. mechanical and, process control and automation engineering.
