SPILL RESPONSE SPECIALIST (MARINE ENGINEERS/DECK OFFICERS)
Key Responsibilities
-Lead a team of responders on our spill response catamarans and in chartered vessels.
-Develop appropriate response strategies and deploy incident action plans on the field
-Provide support to the team on marine matters during planning and exercises.
Requirements
-Marine Certificate of Competency
-At least 4 years sailing preferably on oil/chemical tankers and relevant experience work ashore
-Good mechanical skills able to carry out planned maintenance and trouble shooting on equipment like pumps hydraulic power packs and shipboard machineries.
SPILL RESPONSE SPECIALIST (MECHANICAL ENGINEERS)
Key Responsibilities
-Maintenance of specialist oil spill response equipment and ensuring minimum equipment downtime
-Conduct efficiency studies on equipment storage and deployment to minimize bottlenecks and shorten lead times.
-Act as Operations/Planning/Logistics Chief in an incident Command System structure
during an emergency response or crisis.
Requirements:
-Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering
-Good knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
-1-2 years working experience in the Oil, Petrochemical or Chemical industry.
These positions are based in Indonesia and involve regional traveling, sometimes at short notice. Successful candidates will also receive the appropriate training and be included into the 24/7 standby duty roasters thereafter
