EHS SENIOR OFFICER (EHS 03008)
Job Scope:
-Demonstrate general knowledge of EHS principles, including the various hierarchies of controls.
-Manage the evaluation of current exposure controls & the implementation of controls for process safety risks.
-Advise GSK operations on the suitability and effectiveness of controls.
-Manage the monitoring of the work environment through inspections and walkthroughs.
-Collect, manage, analyse, and interpret EHS data for professional and lay audiences.
-Develop, conduct and evaluate training on EHS programmes and processes.
-Develop and implement best practices in EHS at the operation.
-Generate awareness of EHS issues at appropriate levels of the operation via promotional programmes, events etc.
Requirements:
-University Degree in Engineering or Science.
-Has at least 5 years experiences in managing EHS in senior supervisor level (pharmaceutical, food & beverage or consumer goods industry background is preferable).
-Has relevant EHS standards exposure (ISO 14000 series, OHSAS 18000 series).
-People and communication skills.
-Coaching and mentoring ability.
-Good organizational skill.
-Fully conversant in English (written and verbal).
