Our Client, a leading nonprofit humanitarian organization, focused on Education area is currently looking for a high caliber candidate to be part of their team.
Chief of Communication – Based in Jakarta
Responsibilities:
- This is a senior level role within the organization. Managing the communications risks and opportunities of a business, both internally and externally. Communicating to a wide range of stakeholders, including but not limited to employees, shareholders, media, business influential, the press, the community and the public.
- Conceptualization, planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of an advocacy and communication strategy to promote organization’s mission.
- As a Partner with others in the organization to communicate with donor, analysts, customers and organization Board members, advice and participate in the decisions that may impact the ongoing reputation of the organization.
- Be Responsible for Brand & Marketing Management: Corporate Identity & Style, Corporate Communications, Employee Communications, and Crisis Communications
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 – 15 relevant experience in communications with multiple stakeholder groups.
- University degree in communication, journalism, PR or relevant experience in related field
- Proven professional work experience in communications with multiple stakeholder groups, print and broadcast media, interactive digital media, or public relations and successful experience at a managerial level.
- Knowledge of current theory and practice in communications research, planning and strategy and the role of mass media.
- Strong skills in relation to authoring editorials, synthesizing data and information, as well as positively communicating key issues to the press and other media.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely including concepts in written and oral form; specific skills in writing press releases and articles/stories for traditional and electronic media.
- Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas, as well as impart knowledge and skills to others.
- Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with media representatives, government officials and other partners.
- Knowledge of computer systems, including internet applications, office applications, and specifically interactive digital media.
