Senior System Administrator – Sun (SSA)
Specific Requirements:
Minimum S1 in IT or related subject from reputable university
Minimum 5 years experience in related field, experience in telecommunication or related industry is preferred
Sun, HP or Unix certification is an advantage.
Familiarity with Sun Micro system server hardware, HP Itanium system and HP PA-RISC system, Storage Area Network and software, and Cluster environment is a must
Strong independent work ability
Good written and spoken English
Job Scope:
Formulate, deploy, configure and maintain IT infrastructure as appropriate, this include server hardware, Storage Area Network (SAN), server operating system, and application server
Develop standards for server systems, to include standards for equipment, operating system and system security.
Provide technical expertise regarding server system in 24×7 environment and cluster environment.
Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products
Provide recommendation on vendor products, and coordinate and facilitate vendor interviews and presentations
Provide on-call support and troubleshoot application server and hardware issues.
