SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
Job Requirements
Key requirements are: Bachelor degree majoring in Chemical Engineer. 10 years of related experience with 7 years minimum experience in Oil and Gas. Process background in an upstream onshore oil and gas environment and significant experience in mentoring and motivating junior staff. Candidate will be a key member of the project management team. An in-depth understanding of simulation methods, standards and procedures.
Job Description
Must be able to perform the following, in a professional manner:
Make plans and schedules, coordinate the overall process design and engineering.
Activities and provide technical support with minimal supervision.
Experience with process modeling and simulation and operations support.
Large Capital Project experience and leading a process engineering department.
Skilled in the use of process simulation software. (Hysis)
Capable in providing environmental compliance for the process designs.
Supervise the Process design activities.
Performance of Process design reviews and attend HAZOP sessions.
Provide options for diverse, complex and demanding design requirements.
Demonstrate confidence in the field during investigations and constructibility walk downs with the client and/or subcontractors.
Communicate ideas clearly and interface with the client.
Assist with project proposal preparation including man hour estimates and scope definition.
Knowledge of Auto CAD is a plus.
