CORPORATE MARKETING DIRECTOR (CMD)
Area of responsibilities
-Formulate and implement marketing strategy and roadmap to achieve corporate targets
-Provide the voice of marketplace to CEO , Board of Directors, executive team and marketing and sales force ensuring that customer and consumer needs, desires and opinions are thoroughly understood at the highest levels in the company
-Lead the marketing team for full spectrum of product development, market research and intelligent, development of marketing support and pre and post new product launch activities
-Strengthen the marketing capability and effectiveness of marketing team through the leadership of a team of high potential and marketing/product specialist talents
-Develop corporate branding strategy to promote brand awareness and brand preference
-Plan for and roll out customer campaign programmes to support new business opportunities and or strengthen customer retention
-Represent the company to meet with external stakeholders on media, press, consultants and all associations related to marketing or corporate communications.
Background requirements
-The ideal candidate will ideally possess a bachelor Degree in any field with a graduate degree in business/marketing being a distinct plus
-This person will need to be strong leader who has a driven track record in driving results
-This person will likely have a minim of 15 years of increasingly responsible marketing experience within a consumers foods or retail company
-Preferably general manager/VP/director specializing in Marketing/Business development or equivalent
-The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, commanding presence, demonstrated strong business skills, including financial management and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all level within the company.
